In the mornings when you drop off your child in the line ready to come in, we will be available to talk to and we would like to know if there are any concerns or if you feel you have information to help us know your child better. We are now using the electronic registration system that is completed by 9am. Once completed the teachers can not access it. If you arrive after 9am the entrance doors will be shut and you will need to take your child to the main office to sign in late. (Please do not ring the Infant building bell as staff are busy listening to children read.)
Please could you make sure that your child has a clearly labeled coat to come into school with each day, we feel it is important that we are able to go outside and have time to explore the outdoors for the Foundation Phase ethos.
If your child is having a pack lunch could you try to ensure that they understand this and know what their bag looks like with their name on it.
We have SNACK TIME in the morning where they will be offered a drink of Milk and a piece of fruit. We are encouraging the children to learn about healthy eating creating healthy habits for their future.
We will be taking part in Games and PE every Wednesday please could you provide a t-shirt, pair of shorts, trainers, socks, and a jumper in a bag with their name clearly on all the items along with the bag. You can leave this in school and take it home each holiday to wash.
We have attached a copy of the letter we sent out to all parents along with our timetable.
If there are any worries or concerns please come and see us.
Many thanks
