Rights Respecting School

We are a Silver Rights Respecting School.

"A Rights Respecting School is a place where we can all feel confident with ourselves and it encourages us to use our voice. It has helped me build my confidence. It has helped me raise awareness of injustice in the world."

In 2018 we began our Rights Respecting journey. During the academic year we acheived our bronze and silver award. In 2022/23 we plan on achieving our gold award!

Miss Evans helped us on our Rights Respecting School Silver Award leader. She coordinated our provision and training. As part of her role Miss Evans met regularly with the Rights Respecting Pupil Team and our Super Ambassadors.

Miss James will be helping us on our journey to the Rights Respecting Gold Award. She will be working closely with Miss Marsden and  all the Duty Bearers in our Roath Park community to protect, respect and fulfil the rights of our rights holders. Miss James will be assisting members of our Roath Park Senedd to create interactive assemblies for the Roath Park community to enjoy. If you have any queries or suggestions you would like to share with us, you can contact us here;
