We are a Silver Rights Respecting School.
"A Rights Respecting School is a place where we can all feel confident with ourselves and it encourages us to use our voice. It has helped me build my confidence. It has helped me raise awareness of injustice in the world."
In 2018 we began our Rights Respecting journey. During the academic year we acheived our bronze and silver award. In 2019/20 we plan on achieving our gold award!
Miss Evans is our Rights Respecting School leader. She coordinates our provision and training. As part of her role Miss Evans meets regularly with the Rights Respecting Pupil Team and our Super Ambassadors. If you have a RRS question please email Miss Evans: firstname.lastname@example.org
Who is the Children's Commissioner for Wales? Sally Holland has been the Children's Commissioner for Wales since April 2015. Her job is to tell people why children's rights are so important, and to look at how the decisions made by public bodies in Wales, including Welsh Government, affect children's rights.
