Another outstanding week in year 5. The highlight of this week was our trip to Tretower Court in Crickhowell. There are lots of photos below to give you a 'flavour' of our day. We learnt all about the Tudor household. Did you know where the words Butler, pantry and servant come from? We do now!
The KS2 winners from STEM week were awarded their certificates and prizes in Friday's assembly. Well done to Aneesah, Fariya, Zara, Aayat and Amaarah our '5 Legendz'.
The children spent time with their new teachers and have enjoyed time in their new classrooms
Next week is looking to be a slightly calmer week. In Cornerstones we will be looking closely at the National Parks of Wales. Children will be creating an advert to try to persuade visitors to come to their particular area of choice. The children will also be planning and costing a camping trip.
In maths we will be revising all the 4 calculations, looking at worded problems and revising nets, shape, and symmetry.
There are no new spellings this week.
We hope the children have a lovely weekend and that they have a good rest after a long and busy week.
This web site is for you and your child, please use it frequently. If you could inform us of any ideas in which we could improve our web page we would be very grateful.
