Mr Husband, Mrs Burnett and Mr Owen
Next week the children are changing classes and will be with Mr Edwards or Miss Owen Monday morning and Friday morning.
Tuesday evening is our leavers presentation evening. If your child is involved (they will have had letters) we look forward to seeing them back at school in the evening.
Our topic this half term is called Off With Her Head. This project has a history focus and teaches children about the Tudor period. We have added some website links and useful information below.
Please check the year page regularly as we will update this page with information for you and your child weekly. You will find photos of events, lessons and trips at the end of the page. Spelling lists will be updated weekly. Information on trips will be posted here as well as details about clubs and visits. Each week we will list details of what we are studying in each subject so that you can support your child with their learning.
PE
5B have Games on a Monday and PE on a Wednesday
5H/O have Games on a Monday and PE on a Tuesday
Please ensure both kits are in school on both days as sometimes schedules change and having kit in school allows us to be flexible if we need to be.
Kit should be trainers or pumps (with grip), a change of top and a change of bottoms. Children will be asked to change back into their uniform after PE and Games.
Children are expected to learn spellings each week, times tables and to read for at least 20 minutes every evening. Other homework will be given as and when required and some projects will also be assigned over the year. See RM Easitech maths below.

All children have now been given their log ins to this useful and interactive maths support site. Should you be having any problems or lose your log in, speak to us as we have master copies of everyone's log in details.
Other good maths sites - Multiply Wiz great on tablets and iPads, free as far as we can see, great for practising tables.
Hit the Button - great for practising all aspects of maths number, speed and accuracy. On iPad - £2.99 or on PC I think you can access this for free, through Topmarks.
